MAKE A SECTION 12J INVESTMENT BY USING YOUR SARS REFUND
In order to assist taxpayers with making a Section 12J investment, Jaltech is able to facilitate funding of up to 95% of the investment amount. This means that a taxpayer who is looking to invest (as an example) R1 000 000, will only need to contribute R50 000 (5%) before the end of June and still obtain the tax benefit on the total investment of R1 000 000.
The funding is available for taxpayers who are looking to invest in Infinity Anchor Fund 2021.
- Projected net IRR of 26%² p.a
- Projected gross IRR of 8% p.a
- First repayment 1 October 2022
- Interest: 4% p.a until 1 October 2022
- Funding approved within 24 hours
- Loan repayable within 5 years
- 100% tax deductible
- Only 5% deposit required
- Security: Shares issued & dividend payments
- Minimum loan of R475 000
The following example illustrates an individual investor (in the highest tax bracket) investing R1 million on loan account (R950 000 is funded and R50 000 is contributed by the investor)
If a taxpayer is looking to reduce his/her/its income tax bill by R1 million, but only has capital available in June of R50 000, the taxpayer would need to complete the necessary application forms in order to make the investment and to obtain funding.
Once approved, the taxpayer would only need to deposit R50 000 into Infinity Anchor Fund 2021 and Jaltech would facilitate funding for the balance of the investment amount of R950 0000. Upon investing, the taxpayer would receive a share certificate to the value of R1 million.
The share certificate will allow the taxpayer to reduce his/her/its income tax liability by R1 million. The benefits are that a:
1. PAYE taxpayer will be able to claim a refund from SARS up to the amount of R450 000 for taxes paid during the period ending 28 February 2022.
2. provisional taxpayer will pay up to R450 000 less in tax before the end of June this year.
Regardless as to the type of taxpayer, the funding terms only require the taxpayer to make their first repayment during October 2022. Prior to the first repayment date, the interest charged on the loan facility is as low as prime minus 3%.
