LONG-TERM SOLAR FUNDING FOR SOLAR DEVELOPERS
Jaltech’s solar funding solutions allow solar developers to offer one of the lowest long term power purchasing rates in the market.
What sets Jaltech’s funding apart from competing solar funders is that Jaltech:
- would fund the entire project, with no capital or security needed from the solar developer (off balance sheet funding); and
- can make the necessary capital available within week.
In addition, Jaltech can offer funding terms of between 8 to 20 years. The long funding term will likely result in the annual capital payments being lower than the Rand value of energy being produced, i.e. a positive cash flow position for the energy consumer from the start.
We offer two solar funding options for solar developers, both of which require no upfront capital expenditure or cost from the solar developers.
Jaltech’s Output Solar Funding Option
Jaltech’s Output Solar Funding Option allows Solar Developers to offers energy consumers the assurance that they will only pay for the electricity generated by the solar system.
With this option, customers are solely responsible for purchasing the energy produced by the solar system.
Jaltech’s Fixed Solar Funding Option
Jaltech’s Fixed Solar Funding Option allows Solar Developers to offers energy consumers a predictable monthly payment for their solar system. With this option, the Solar Developer can provide a clear proposal detailing a fixed monthly cost (with annual adjustments) that remains consistent for the customer.
This approach ensures financial stability and simplifies energy budgeting, regardless of fluctuations in system performance.
MANDATE
Jaltech’s mandate is to provide competitive funding terms for new solar installations or to refinance existing solar installations (which can include the addition of new batteries and/or solar panels).
The high-level mandate is as follows:
