Our teams have extensive experience in guiding clients through the M&A process across a number of African countries. The execution of cross border M&A transactions come with a number of complexities, particularly when it comes to knowing the local financial and legal environment.

Raising finance – project finance & corporate finance

Having advised on numerous management buy-outs across various sectors as well as advising management through acquisition processes, we understand the internal dynamics and structures required to raise finance. Further to this, we understand the possible relationship complexities that can arise from a management buy-out process.

Disposals

Our firm’s experience and access to an international and domestic network of potential/strategic purchasers allows us to guide our clients through the entire disposal process.

  • Preparing our client’s business or asset for sale
  • Running a process of identifying and selecting acquirers which are likely to provide the maximum disposal value within the correct buy-out structure
  • Managing the transaction through to a successful conclusion

Empowerment / localisation structures

Hedging

Hedging is an integral part of our advisory services, particularly in cross border transactions.
